Hiring grants are government-funded programs that provide financial incentives to employers who create jobs, hire apprentices, or invest in employee training. These grants can cover a portion of wages, training costs, or onboarding expenses for new employees or apprentices.
Receive up to $1,000 per new apprentice hired and registered in an eligible Red Seal trade.
Available in Ontario through the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.
The COJG provides financial support to employers to train new or existing employees. Employers can receive up to $10,000 per trainee, and small employers (fewer than 100 employees) may be eligible for up to $15,000 per trainee. The grant covers a portion of third-party training costs.
